The children of Brightwood Elementary School have been very busy this year. We've had a Harvest Festival, a Hispanic Heritage Celebration, Family Literacy Night, a Car Wash to help the American Red Cross respond to the tragedy of September 11th, a Spelling Bee, a Geography Bee, a Black History Bee, several plays, Field Days, International Day, a terrific Health Fair, numerous fun and educational field trips, and a talent show! We've even started a student newspaper, The Brightwood Bugle! Learning really can be fun here at Brightwood!
